With a group of four other students in BCIT’s Information Architecture course, we designed the user experience for a fictional online travel magazine called WeTour Magazine. Our steps included defining our business and its goals, completing a competitive analysis, user research (surveys, interviews, web), and then creating personas, empathy maps, and journey maps. We then created an initial sitemap, then ran a closed card sorting session, created the user flow and ultimately created wire frames and a working prototype using Figma.
